Early redemption of a CD by the Bank

The Bank is not obligated to redeem a CD before maturity.
If the Bank chooses to redeem a CD early at the client's request, the Client will incur a fee based on the remaining term until maturity

Early redemption fee

On the date (or at the time) of the Certificate of Deposit redemption, the applicable interest rate shall be the current rate offered by the bank for certificates of deposit with a maturity equal to the remaining term of the redeemed certificate, or if no such term is available - the rate of the next longer-term certificate of deposit, plus an additional 3%.
