Georgia’s leading financial institution – TBC, international payment network Visa, and one of the world’s most successful airlines – Turkish Airlines are launching an unprecedented collaboration.
Through this three-way partnership, an innovative travel card will soon be introduced to the Georgian market, offering a completely new travel experience for TBC Concept 360 and TBC Wealth Management clients.
“This partnership marks the first time that such high-profile brands unite in Georgia under a shared vision. Our joint mission is based on a simple idea – to offer Georgian consumers products and services that provide comfort anywhere in the world,” – Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, CEO of TBC Bank.
The travel product created through this partnership will combine Visa’s travel benefits, TBC Bank’s leading financial services, and the Miles & Smiles program from Turkish Airlines.
Customers will earn Miles & Smiles miles on international transactions, which can be used for purchasing airline tickets and other services from Turkish Airlines.
Additional travel-related perks are planned, including:
Exclusive access to airport lounges
Fast-track through airport security
Special rates on taxis and international roaming services
“We are excited to launch this joint travel card product with TBC and Visa, enabling users to benefit from their everyday spending. This collaboration reflects our core mission – to enhance the travel experience beyond flying and bring extra value to our passengers,” – Arif Ali Gezmisoglu, SVP of Marketing at Turkish Airlines.
In addition to unique benefits, the travel card will feature a co-branded design and be made from premium metal material.
“I’m pleased that Georgia’s first innovative travel card will be exclusively available for the most seasoned travelers. Alongside a more comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable experience, our clients will now also enjoy significant benefits. This collaboration fully aligns with our strategic goal – to create special value for those who truly love to travel,” – Diana Kiguradze, Visa Regional Manager for the Caucasus and Moldova.
Details about the card’s functionality will be revealed soon after its official release.
