When shopping in Turkey with Global Blue TAX Free, at Customs you will receive an extra 20% of the VAT refund amount. The additional 20% is calculated from the Tax Free refund amount and not from the total value of the item

The maximum amount of the additional refund is limited to 2,000 lira per transaction
At the moment of payment, make sure to present your Mastercard card to the staff at the partner store
After Customs validation, the total amount — the standard VAT refund plus the additional 20% — will be transferred directly to your registered Mastercard card
